With revenues in excess of £2 billion and employing more than 1,000 colleagues, Frontier Agriculture Ltd is the UK's largest crop production and grain marketing business. Founded in 2005 as a joint venture between Associated British Foods plc and Cargill inc. Frontier has more than doubled in size through organic and highly acquisitive growth. It operates a unique, balanced business model underpinned by their industry-wide expert reputation and close customer relationships, a strong balance sheet, innovation and strategic resilience. Headquartered from Witham St Hughs near Lincoln, it operates from 46 sites across the UK providing arable farmers with crop inputs such as seed, fertiliser and crop protection products through their grain trading, storage and logistics facilities. They also provide technical support including precision farming services, backed by the UK largest industry specific research and development programme, supported by a team of over 100 agronomists. 

With a c25% share of the grain market, trading around 5,000,000 tonnes of grain per year, Frontier have a portfolio of around 100 grain consumers and manufacturers which include Associated British Foods plc, Cargill, Warburtons, Sainsburys and Molson Coors, and own several brands and associated businesses that provide additional advice and value to the arable supply chain including MyFarm, SOYL, and YAGRO. Their adjacency strategy is designed to supplement their core business via investment in startup subsidiary or joint venture enterprises, which in addition to YAGRO include Oxbury Bank and Navara Oat Milling Ltd.
